The Grove at Stone Park

I love living here! I currently live at The Grove at Stone Park, and it’s been a great experience. The area is quiet, clean, and feels really safe. The staff is always friendly and quick to fix any issues. My apartment is spacious and cozy — it truly feels like home. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a lovely, peaceful community!

We’ve been here about a month now and everything was fine at first. But now after being here I have a few issues that can’t keep silent about. 1. The GATE- random people be here causing issues. Please fix the damn gate. We pay money to leave safe and that gate would help a lot. 2. The gym- the bathrooms are nasty and the sauna needs to be cleaned. They have so much potential to be great but just slack off. 3. The grounds are typically really clean but there are a few times when the dumpster area looks a mess. Fix it. I’d give this place a 65/100. Needs work and definitely won’t be signing my lease again.

I wasn’t originally planning to write this review because my husband and I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt—but at this point, the experience has become too frustrating to stay silent. From the very beginning, communication has been a major issue. Every time we had a question about the move-in process, we could never get anyone on the phone. We even had to drive two hours from where we were currently living just to speak with someone in person. That alone was stressful. We weren’t allowed to see the original unit we applied for, but we were shown a different floor plan and told we could move into that one instead. The only thing they said needed to be done was a carpet cleaning. Based on that, we were excited and moved forward. The walk-through went smoothly, and everything seemed fine—at first. However, just three days after moving in, we discovered that the stove/oven didn’t even work. That was a huge inconvenience, especially after just settling in. To make matters worse, the gated entrance to the community doesn’t even function—so much for the added security and exclusivity that was advertised. At this point, we’re hoping things improve, but we’re starting to feel like we may have made the wrong choice moving here. We understand that no place is perfect, but the lack of communication, maintenance issues, and broken promises are hard to overlook.

Lived here from 2020-2023. The apartment itself wasn't bad but far from luxury. I didn't like the community. Residents don't respect the property and neighborhood of a home. People Speed, take up multiple parking spots, gym gets crowded with teenagers who don't live there and bang on the door till someone lets them in. Gym is dirty, disorganized and broken equipment. The Internet sucks and management lies saying it's from directTV but it's some trash local company called cencom. Management also doesn't really care, they may act or sound nice over the phone but their actions speak louder. Also, rent has went up a lot with zero improvements in the amenities , simple thing like improvements or maintenance to the kids parks would have been nice. Grass grows a foot before the cut it. Kiddy Pool looks like a biology project most of the summer. People don't clean up after their pets, there are dog stations and people will have their pets poop right next to it and not pick it up. "Gated community" is always broken, or people just tailgate in behind you. Lastly , when I moved into the apartment it was dirty. Specifically the carpet. I had a one-year-old toddler at the time and they were hairpin screws and all types of unsafe things. We had to pause the move in to go buy a bunch of cleaning supplies first

Red Flags!!!!! these folks add all types of fees & everything. There is literally so much I can say & im about to put it all on the floor. Been here since 9/6/2024 (only a year) & it sucks. WiFi never works .. never feel safe because the gate is always open literally ALL TYPES OF NIGHT! gym door is always open meaning anybody who pull in the property have access to the gym. I was late on my rent(rent due 1st, I paid the 5th) & got a notice saying if it wasn’t paid between the next days I would be put out! I thought anywhere you live .. you at least have a 10 grace period. Okay every since I moved here my trash can been by my door.. now all of a sudden they added a $50 fee saying my trash can been in the breezeway (which it had always been) . Oh did I mention the WiFi never works? I got fired from my work from home job because the WiFi doesn’t stay on no more than 30 minutes. Lastly for at least 2 months .. my refrigerator kept going out. I called the office almost everyday because I have 2 small children & eating out everyday was getting expensive. Never replaced my groceries mind you my frig went out every other day (they fixed it ) next day it still went out .. I would load up with groceries & they only excuse was “oh we are short staff” no sympathy or anything. Now don’t get me wrong, the apartments are nice but compared to what you have to put up with just isn’t!

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. They were very patient and helpful with answering my questions and assisting me with my issues on uploading documents to their website. In addition, they took the time to show me the actual unit that I plan to rent as well as the model home to get decorating ideas.They made me feel like I was already at home even though I am still in the leasing process.
