I’ve worked decorating at multiple venues. And make no mistake, this is a beautiful place, it was a beautiful wedding. But I have NEVER worked at a venue quite like this. The owner hovers over you, won’t let you do, or move hardly anything, in fact, there was Christmas garland that we couldn’t move, so we had to make do. Shes rude, unprofessional and confrontational. Confrontational being the key word! I witnessed her screaming at the bride and groom on Friday. To the point, the groom had to leave! Wedding night was supposed to last until 9, until she decided, before 8 that “the party was over”. She proceeded to scream at multiple guest, the bride and groom, a one year old! We were warned so many times in the past year of her behavior, but we’re hoping this result would be different. Do yourself a favor, do your event anywhere but here!

My friends had the most beautiful wedding here this weekend. They deserve the absolute best. The owner is the absolute worst. She yelled at many guests, yelled at a one year old and demanded he leave the property as he was just standing, not even moving, speaking, or eating. The venue was booked until 9:00 pm, and she began turning off lights around 7:00 pm. She turned them back on at the request of the family. By 7:45, everyone who was hired by the family to help make the day perfect were running out of the building to get away from her and her antics. I have never met a more unprofessional or miserable woman. Please do not have any events here if you want to have a drama and stress free day.

My niece was recently married at The Barn. The wedding was absolutely beautiful, but I would like to give a warning to anyone considering this venue. The owner will be there watching you at all times. She will also come to your wedding dressed in jeans and a plaid shirt. When she decides she is tired and wants to go home, she will turn the lights off.... even in the middle of a meal. This is her personal property and I understand she has the right to enter at any time. However, I find her behavior EXTREMELY unprofessional. If her constant presence doesn't bother you, it is very beautiful.
