Could use a face lift and some organizing but overall an average dollar general.

They need some help. Store was a mess. Dirty floors. The cashier was nice though. There were pistachios in a garbage can that I was buying for my sons dorm room. I can go on and on but am cooking dinner. I hope they get some help in there very soon. I'm contacting home office, as well.

It is so nice to have a Dollar General Store here in Livingston, close to home and quite convenient, but This store is really cluttered. To much stuff in the isles and to many empty shelves. Sometimes at 5pm the store will be closed. For what reason? Thought it was suppose to stay open till 10pm?

The store is very nasty. The aisles are cluddered, the shelves are empty, produce is empty, cashier are no where to be found when its time to check out. The manager attitude is nasty, she has horrible customer services, and never in the store! Honestly it needs to be under new management because the store has fallen apart and nobody seems to care. Whoever the District Manager is needs to do something about this store before it falls completely apart.

My brother and his wife stopped to buy charcoal and lighter fluid but at the checkout the Clerk said he was not allowed to sell the off brand fluid but directed us to the Kingsford brand which was more expensive. But the shelves were stocked plentifully with the off brand on display. I told the clerk I was confused why they had the occasion brand on shelves but couldn't sell them? We ended up leaving in disgust and dissatisfied.

They often have a spot on the shelves for the item you need, but the item isn't in stock. Prices are often higher at checkout than listed on the shelf. The aisles are always full of empty boxes and it can be hard to navigate a buggy through the store.

Sometime end of March or first part of April I purchased large bag of catfood a twin window fan and a number of other items.i found worms and mold all in catfood.i had my reciept so i had no trouble getting refund.A short time later when i tried to use window fan,it didnt work.i wasnt given back my recept so they let me swap out for same fan,last one on shelf at time.No problem.i open fan to use,it has broken piece on it..They have No more fan other than too small a size.The asm. that refunded catfood was never there when i was back in store,finnaly i see her,tell her all this,she told me what days she worked that she would take care of .Today im there with fan,she has to go to bank.The store manager is there,he will do my refund or exchange .He said i could per company policy only get another fan.i looked wheni first got there,there were no window fans or boxfans on shelf.i spent a good hour in store shopping for exchange merchandise and for things needed but were not on shelves.Now he says We have some box fans in back.Ive been tring to get this exchange done for months now. I do not live in Livingston so this store Dont Even Need To Be on List of stores to Shop. Store manager Needs customer service and satisfaction Training
